Our ride fares are established by our dynamic pricing engine to maximise efficiency and deliver the fares that are most appropriate to time and conditions.
\n1. How does it work?
\nAs demand increases, usually based on events, road activity, extreme weather conditions, and similar disruptive conditions, so does the cab fare, in an attempt to encourage more drivers to get on the road and offer their service to passengers.
\n2. Can the price change once I book?
\nThe price will never change once you\u2019ve booked.
\n3. Does the price vary depending on the booking channel?
\nYes it does. Every booking channel has its associated costs \u2013 it costs us more to run an office than to accept a booking through our App, for instance. This is reflected in the fare that is offered to our passengers. Whenever you can, book through the App to ensure the lowest fare possible.
\n4. Does the price differ between Book Now and Book Later?
\nA ‘Book Later’ trip costs marginally more as a driver is specifically deployed for that ride in advance to ensure that the driver is waiting before the pick up time, for you to enjoy the timeliness you expect from your booking.
\n5. Sometimes I pay much less than the average. Why is that?
\nThis is the happy reverse of point 1 above.
